- Here are a few of my favorite pieces that I've ever reported/contributed to (you can listen to them at the bottom of the page)
- For Studio 360, I tried to train a cat to use the toilet, using a method developed by jazz legend Charles Mingus
- Using an algorithm developed by the WNYC newsroom, I rode the longest non-continuous MTA subway route possible
- For On The Media, I came up with the best app idea ever (and managed to exasperate Bob and Brooke in the process)
- How I saved for my wedding by not using $5 bills
- For Freakonomics, I discussed Ultimate Frisbee's lack of referees
- I occasionally serve as the real-time fact-checker on Stephen Dubner's "Tell Me Something I Don't Know"
- I'm one of the judges for the newly created podcast category for the Webby awards
- I helped the NYC Mayor's office with the first comprehensive study of the podcasting industry in NYC, and serve as a mentor for its podcast certificate program
- I'm a founding contributor to Longform, and now contribute a weekly podcast pick to Don Van Natta's "The Sunday Longread" newsletter
- I'm one of those people who take ultimate frisbee way too seriously
- I recently did an interview with "discover pods" about my time in radio. That's probably a better summary of what I've been up to than the list of links above.
I'm available for speaking engagements, panel discussions, hosting, consulting, coffee chats and more
